Dear Delegates,
We are Nathan Li and Nicole Tam from HKIS and Sha Tin College respectively, and we are your chairs for the World Health Organisation (WHO) at CISMUN VII this year! We would like to give you our warmest greetings to you all in the Committee!
The World Health Organisation was founded in 1948, and is the United Nations agency that connects nations, partners and people to promote health, keep the world safe and serve the vulnerable so that everyone and everywhere can attain the highest level of health. WHO leads global efforts to expand universal health coverage, and directs and coordinates the world’s response to health emergencies.
We strongly encourage you to research and be prepared for the upcoming debates and resolution-writing on your topics. We look forward to your active participation in the debate over the two days of discussion. And to also receive a fun and meaningful experience, providing you with an opportunity to make new friends whilst developing a deeper understanding of global issues. If you have any inquiries, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We look forward to meeting you all at the CIS campus in February!
